Sun-dried tomato with chives cream cheese spread

This is an incredibly simple recipe with only 3 ingredients.  In addition to using it on toasts and bagel, you can also use this cream cheese spread to thicken and add creaminess to your pasta sauce.  

Yield - 1.5 cups

Ingredients

1 package/8 oz of cream cheese (in room temperature)

2.5 tbs of chopped chives

3-4 pieces of sun-dried tomato

Preparation

Using the purée function, combine cream cheese, chopped chives, and sun-dried tomato until everything is well incorporated.

I made the mistake of using fridge-cold cream cheese instead of letting it rest until it reaches room temperature, so I had to purée it for 2-3 minutes. If your cream cheese is already softened, I would recommend chopping the sun-dried tomatoes into smaller bits before mixing it with the cream cheese.
